Anjaneri Hills , Nashik Overview
Popularly believed as the place where Lord Hanuman was born, Anjaneri hills get their name from ‘Anjani’, the name of Lord Hanuman’s mother. Sitting in the picturesque Nashik-Trimbakeshwar mountain range, the hills also have a fort called the Anjaneri fort 20 km from Nashik.
In addition to the spiritual significance it holds, Anjaneri is a famous destination for hikers as well.
