Bekal is located at the widely expanded Malabar coastline. It is known for its forts, beaches and backwaters. The naturally beautiful town, located at the Arabian Sea shore prides itself on a considerable number of the tourist spots. There are Nityanandashram caves (a huge number of 45 caves in total!). Besides, there are temples, mosques, aqua park, Bekal Fort and Beach, Chandragiri fort and Kappil Beach.
