Bell Temple, Tinsukia Overview
The Bell Temple is situated nearly 17 kms away from the serene town of Tinsukia. People visit the town flock to the famous temple to pay their respect. The beautiful temple is marked by a serene atmosphere and is dedicated to the Hindu God Lord Shiva. The temple is also called Tilinga Temple. The word ‘Tilinga’ means ‘bell’. You will find a huge banyan tree in the complex of the temple. Devotees tie small bells to the tree when they wish something from Lord Shiva.
