This bridge is in close proximity to the Bund Garden. Most of the locals refer to it as the Bund Garden Bridge because of its location. It was built by British guys in 1867 and is recorded as the number one triangle spaced arch bridge in Pune that links the Bund Gardens to that of China’s. It was specifically built and monitored by Captain Robert S. Sellon an Engineer of the Royal house, and as at that time it took 2 lakh rupees to construct. This bridge was built above the river Mula-Mutha and has at its sides a carved figure of the Medici Lion.
