Bushi Dam, Kandala Overview
Bhushi Dam is a stone structure built across the river Indrayani near Khandala in Maharashtra. The dam swells up during the monsoon season and the place is worth visiting. At this time of the year, the water overflows over the steps of the Bhushi Dam and the rocky terrain. The sight is mesmerizing and you will be in great admiration of the water gushing out of the dam. The region gets quite crowded during this season and it becomes difficult to find a suitable place to stand. However, travel to this place early morning to avoid the crowd. Swimming is prohibited in the dam because of irregularity in the flow of water.
