saw mill is situated in Chatham island of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. it is
one of the oldest and biggest saw mill in Asia. That’s why it is a great
attraction for tourists making it one of the most visited places. It was
constructed in 1883 with the soul purpose of providing the saw and timber for
constructional works that were happening on the island. It is amongst some of
the few mills that provide timbers to construction industries for their
versatile use. It is connected to port Blair with 100-meter-long bridge.
