Chavand also known as Prasannagad is a beautiful structurally classic hill in Maharashtra.
It‘s height is about 3500 feet. There are popular hills in Pune and Chavand Trek happens to be one of the top five. The other four are; Jivdhan, Shivneri, Naneghat, Hadsar
The classic hill has about 7 different water reservoirs created from one of it’s rocks.
The two temples close to Chavand are Chamunda temple which is at the very top of the hill and the Kukdeshwar temple at the south of the hill. You can also find the river Kukdi in close proximity to the hill.
