Churu is a small town situated alongside the shifting golden sand dunes and shares its boundaries with the Great Thar Desert. It is therefore referred to as a “Gateway to the Thar Desert”. The city is packed with elegant Havelis that portrays a unique architectural style and fresco artwork.
There are various interesting historical places to visit in Churu such as splendid Havelis of Surana and Kanhaiya Lal Bagla which is a 400 years old fortress. This place is well connected to major cities including Delhi and hence, it forms a perfect getaway destination from the National Capital.
