Camping at Daikund Peak
The magnificent Daikund Peak has many picture-perfect views but sadly people seldom visit this place in the vicinity of Dalhousie. Myth has it that the place is haunted by witches who give it the name “Dain Kund” or “Witches Pond”. Today looking for a witch here will be a futile exercise, but if we believe in the myth then one must say that the witches had chosen a beautiful place to haunt. Hardly will you come across such a place in the lap of nature. The village is ideal to pitch a tent, light a bonfire and enjoy the views that Mother Nature has to offer.
