The Daulashal Temple in Nalbari is one of the
most prominent temples in the district. It is situated in Daulashal towards the
south. The revered temple was constructed in dedication to Lord Krishna and his
elder brother Balram, The temple once got its name from ‘doul’, which means
great temple, and ‘khal’, which means canal. Both the structures are present
here and hence the name. Every year, a large number of tourists flock to the
temple owing to its religious significance.
