Deekshabhoomi Stupa is the religious place in Nagpur where Dr B.R. Ambedkar converted himself and his fellow Dalit disciples into Buddhism. Being one of the important pilgrimage points for Buddhist, this place is visited by devotees especially during 14th October, the sacred date when the mass conversion was undertaken by Ambedkar.
