History of Film City
Under the guidance and supervision of famous actor, director and producer, V. Shantaram, the Film City was established in 1911. The City was the dream project of Dada Sahib Phalke and it was after his initiative the Film City was built and named henceforth. The Film City has provided enough space and amenities for the shoot of almost 900 movies and many other TV series.

How to Reach Film City?
Film City is well-connected with various means of transportation such as cabs, autos, trains, buses, etc. However, the best way to commute to this place is via the Mumbai local train. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Goregaon to reach the City.
