Best Time to Visit Gavi
It is in between October to February for the weather is pleasantly cool. The maximum temperature during the day is around 28 degrees. During the nights, the temperature falls to 20 degrees. Thus, you need not pack any warm clothes.

- You may hire a vehicle to Gavi from Kumily or Vandiperiyar.
How to Reach Gavi?
- Air: There is an airport at Trivandrum (250km) and also at Madurai (195km).
- Rail: You may catch a KRTC bus from the Kottayam (the closest Rail Head) till the Gavi Check Post. You may also reach the Check Post by means of a cab.
- Road: You may reach Gavi by a KRTC bus either from Kumily village (14 km) or Vandiperiyar (28 km).
