Hanuman Garhi, Nainital Overview

The temple is situated in proximity to the Nainital’s famous Shitla Devi Temple and Bapu Lila Sah. What adds to the beauty of the temple is the large statue of Lord Hanuman, who is seen ripping his chest to show how Lord Ram lives in his heart. Though the temple is crowded with lots of tourists throughout the year, it receives a majority of its tourists and devotees on Tuesday and Saturday.
The best time to pay a visit to Hanuman Garhi is in the evening i.e. when the sun is about to set into the horizon. It leaves its beautiful orange hues in the sky, providing the tourists with a picturesque atmosphere to capture. You can hire a rental taxi from the main city to reach Hanuman Garhi. It is open to visitors from 5 AM to 12 PM in the morning and 4 PM to 9 PM in the evening. You can explore the entire temple and nearby regions in less than an hour.
