It is said that the Hindu leader, Guru Dattatreya and Muslim spiritual guide Hazrat Dada Hayath Mir Khalandar took refuge here. Urs, which is a 3 day celebration that takes place every year during the third month of the Islamic calendar, is a grand festivity. Hindus usually visit during Kartik poornima.
