Jog Falls, Jog Falls Overview
The Jog Falls are considered as the second highest waterfall of India with a drop height of 253m. The hovering clouds gives a view as if the water is gushing down from it. The occasional rainfall and the appearance of rainbow after it make it the place no less than a la-la land. The word “Jog” in Kannada means falls. If you are staying in cities like Mangalore, Bangalore, Hubli or Goa, then it would be easy for you to reach this place. This place attracts lots of tourists in monsoon due to the natural beauty and climate. You can enjoy a Musical Karanji and Laser Light Show which is held right at the fall everyday between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
