Kedareswara Temple
Kedareswara Temple, Halebidu Overview
Kedareswara, another name of a prominent God of Hinduism named Lord Shiva, is revered in the Kedareswara Temple of Halebidu. As you might have seen in most of the Shiva temples, you can also see a Shivalinga being housed in the main shrine.
This temple was built by the Chalukya rulers in 1319 A.D, so you can witness an example of Chalukyan style architecture. The temple’s basement is featured with the theme of the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Bhagavad Gita.
