Kovalam consists of 3 beaches, namelythe Hawa beach, Samudra beach and the Lighthouse beach. These beaches are all at a walkable distance from each other. The Lighthouse Beach is the biggest among them all and its name is derived from a 30m high lighthouse. You can enjoy mesmerizing views of the nearby areas by climbing to the top of the lighthouse by way of elevators and staircases. You can not only see the beach, but also the special Beemapalli mosque and Poovar, which adds an even better experience to your journey.
