The Two Waterfalls at Lingmala Falls

From here you will have to walk for 30 mins to reach the main waterfall. Due to the high flow intensity of waterfall, this place is not suitable for swimming. However, you can stand watching the water cascade gently over the rocky rubbles. Or, you can take a walk across the dense jungle of Mahabaleshwar, however, do not delve deeper into the jungles as it might not be safe.

1. People from all age groups can visit the Lingmala Fall but it is advised that the elderly and children should avoid trekking as the trail is slippery and rocky.

How to Reach Lingmala Falls?
The Lingmala Waterfalls is well connected with Mahalabeshwer via bus, autorickshaw or a private taxi. The place is just 6 km away from the main city and you can take a bus from the Bus Stop. As you travel to Panchangi from Mahabaleshwar, the fall is located on the right side of the road. There is also a signboard that directs the travellers to the fall. From the signboard, you will have to take a left and after 10 minutes drive, you will reach the entrance of Lingmala Waterfalls. As you enter the main entrance, you will be greeted by the sight of the mini waterfall. A 30 minutes walk from this place will take you to the main waterfall which lies in a lower region.
