Maha Sati, Chittorgarh Overview
Maha Sati is a cremation ground used by the Udaipur rulers which is situated at a distance of about 110 km from Chittorgarh. There is also a water reservoir which is believed to contain water from the holy river Ganga. The Ahar Cenotaphs comprises 19 chhatris to which was built in the honor of the 19 rulers who were cremated here. Overall, there are more than 250 gravestones at Maha Sati.
