Malgund, Ratnagiri Overview
Malgund is a small village situated near to Ganapatipule town in Maharashtra. This village is the native place of a well-known Marathi poet and author, Late Kavi Keshavsoot. The residence of the poet has now been converted into a hotel for students and can be visited by people who have a keen interest in poetry and in the life of the poet. There is also a beautiful memorial dedicated to this poet which was constructed by Marathi Sahitya Parishad.
