Main Info
Manas National Park
There’s nothing like history to connect you deeply to a place. I find that knowing the history of a place makes you understand the place better. Just like in our acquaintance with people, we dance around them to the tune they’ve played over time.
The thing about historical sites is that you stand in a spot and eons-old stories unravel like it was yesterday.
Decisions of the past can affect the future. A long time ago, the human species were voracious in their appetite for domination and control and took down everything in there that was lesser than they were. They used animal fur for coats, feathers for hats, horns for knife handles, reptile skins for belt and shoes. They did so without repentance and this affected some animal population. This made lots of animals completely extinct and some on the verge of extinction.
Manas National Park is the largest one in India that is home to a lot of endangered species. It is home to the famous rare golden langur and the red panda.
Tourist Attraction
One thing remarkable about nature is the plethora of colours it exudes. Imagine what nature would be like without colours, do you see it? Yeah, there isn’t much to look at, next scene, please. There are birds, fishes, tigers, elephants, Buffalo, Leopards, Panthers, turtles the list goes on and on.
