Maravanthe Beach is situated at about 12 km from Kubdapur and is known to be one of the best beaches in Karnataka. The shoreline meets National Highway 17, giving you a beautiful view when you’re on the road. The Maravanthe beach is surrounded by the Arabian Sea at one side and the Kodachadri Hills on the other. The beach is known to be the perfect spot for viewing the sunset. Orange, Pink and Red colours make the sky a pleasing sight.

You should visit Maravanthe Beach between September and March. During monsoon, the roads become waterlogged. The summers are pleasant. After the monsoon, the water is perfect for swimming.
How to reach?
The Kubdapur Railway Station is at a distance of 20 km from the beach. AC buses, as well as regular buses, go through the Kundapur-Udipi-Mangalore route every day. A cab from the city can also be feasible.
