Main Info
Mobor Beach is a rare South Goan party beach. It is often considered an extension of the adjacent Cavelossim Beach that lies to the south at the confluence of the River Sal and Arabian Sea.
The beach is one of the most visited destinations by all those tourists to Goa who look for sport activities. You may opt from jet skiing, parasailing, windsurfing, apart from biking on the beach. The last one is one of the most popular activities that visitors feel inclined to.
You may also spot dolphins, and water birds. Cruising across the River Sal is highly enjoyable. The biodiversity is somewhat exotic. The River Sal delta is considered to be biologically important. However, it is not advisable to undertake any kind of navigation (and it is even discouraged here) unless the sailor is an experienced one and well-versed with the various geographical complexities of the area.
Mobor Beach is home to two of the most sophisticated hotel chains. The beach is also well equipped with casinos, discos, bars, and sophisticated eateries. As the beach is partially owned by some of the hotels, it is usually mistaken for a private beach. But the misconception has only served to make the beach fancier for the crowds do get largely filtered for the same reason. The beach also offers quite a few of the exclusive activities including oyster catching and underwater fishing.
