Na-Pukhuri, Tinsukia Overview
The Na-Pukhuri is a collection of nine beautiful lakes located on the borders of the beautiful town on Tinsukia. This is most popular tourist attraction of Tinsukia. The Na-Pukhuri was build during the time when King Sarbananda Singha ruled the place. It holds its own historic significance today.
The Na-Pukhuri has a huge central tank that spans an area of more than 10 acres. The tank holds natural water. It is called a lake because of the area it spans and the way water is filled in it. A beautiful park has been constructed beside it to boost tourism. There is a pathway that is 400 meters long. You will find a 1200 m long jogging pathway as well. There are plenty of equipment for children to play with. A triple cascade fountain in the middle of the park serves as a main feature of the park.
