Nagarhole National Park
Nagarhole National Park, situated in Kodagu, near Mysore, is known for its housing of both flora and fauna. The Nagarhole national park also is now known as the best wildlife reserve in India. Home toa variety of herbs, shrubs and plants, the national park also houses a wide variety of mammals, reptiles, crawlers and other rare birds.
Major reptiles such as Russell’s viper, Indian rock python, vine snakes, wolf snakes, etc. are found here. Apart from these, the national park is also the home to about 270 species of birds including White Backed Vulture, Nilgiriwood-pigeon and many more.
