Periyar National Park, Kumily Overview
Periyar national Park attracts lots of tourists and wildlife enthusiasts. One can spend some amazing time roaming and wandering among its lush green and refreshing environment. You can see various wild animals such as elephants, deer, Sambar and Nilgiri Langur living peacefully in this natural habitat.
It is an important national park and is famous for being the only Tiger reserve in the state of Kerala. You can go for some adventurous rides like Jeep and Elephant Safaris. The Chitra Pournima Festival, which is celebrated in the Mangala Devi temple situated in the park, is another important tourist attraction.
