Purmandal, also known as Chhota Kashi, a religious town dedicated to Lord Shiva
and Goddess Parvati.
Located in the district of Samba, Purmandal is
situated on the banks of river Devika. The most visited temple is the Purmandal
temple, dedicated to Goddess Parvati. The temples dedicated to Lord Shiva are
built on rocks, which makes for a magnificent attraction. The town is lined
with dharamshalas and mansions which date back to the 19th century.
