Ramtek Fort Temple, Nagpur Overview
Situated far off from the main city, on a hilltop is the marvellous Ramtek Fort in Nagpur. The fortress boasts of vibrant mythological antiquity and is of immense historical importance in the region. It is believed Lord Rama took shelter in this fort while he left to defeat Ravana and conquer Lanka. Therefore, the presiding deity of this fort is Lord Rama.
