Rangasamy Peak and Pillar
A sacred hill located in Kotagiri is the Rangasamy Hill which houses a shrine to the lord Rangasamy. This peak stands mightily at the height of about 1785 m and is far from Kotagiri at a distance of about 20 km. This place also serves as a sacred place to the Irulas Tribe living there. The Rangasamy pillar standsat the height of about 400 feet above the peak attracts many pilgrims from all around the world. While visiting this peak, it is also recommended to visit the other nearby attractions such as Karagodumattam, KilKotagiri, Kadasholai and Sholurmattam.
