Sadashivgad Fort, Devbagh Overview
It was constructed by Raja Sonde in 1968. It is said to have seen the rise and fall of many dynasties from Kandabas to Marathas to the Portuguese and the British.
The fort is situated on top of a hillock at an altitude of 200 ft high. It is surrounded by green and thick cover of forests. Shantadurga Temple is not far off from there. The fort is a masterpiece of wonderful architecture and creativity.
