Siridao Beach, Goa Overview
The Siridao Beach is the perfect place to be visited by the Nature lovers. The topography is attractively captivating. The turquoise Arabian Sea, the rocky stretch with its various little puddles formed in the crevices, and the seashells picturesquely arrayed at the sea shores, are among the various beautiful features that nature displays at the Siridao Beach.
Besides being highly scenic, Siridao beach is known for a number of attractions. The chapel of Jesus of Nazareth at the top of the hillock is simply gorgeous. The chapel overlooks the awesome coastline. Thus it allows the visitors to enjoy a magnificent view of the fascinating bay. The church is a fine example of the Portuguese architecture and the Easter feast held here is attended by a huge number of devotees. Apart from the church specified above, there is the Holy Souls Chapel. It was constructed in 1973 by the well-known Lucio Miranda.
There are three statues at the village entrance. They are shown to play musical instruments. Statue of a dog can also be seen with these quirky figures. And there is the Siridao cave. Though the cave is man-made and carved out of a single cell, its construction dates back to the 6th or 7th century. No wonder, the locals almost revere it as their local heritage.
