Akshardham temple is one of the famous places in Delhi. Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple is an essence of Indian architecture. The temple happens to be one of the spiritual and sacred places in New Delhi. The campus and whole structure are dedicated to the Lord Swaminarayan. Located in Noida Mor, the temple was built and designed by BAPS. The place was constructed as per the Pancharatra Shastra and Vastu Shastra. It got opened to the worshippers and visitors in 2005.
Swaminarayan Akshardham campus houses quite a few exhibition centers that offer information about the Swaminarayan and his life. Like other Hindu temples, the major attraction of the palace is the Swaminarayan Mandir. It stands at a height of 43 meters and features intricate carvings. In addition to Swaminarayan, the temple houses the idols of Lakshmi Narayan, Sita Ram, Shiv & Parvati, and Radha & Krishna. The site receives visitors in the count of thousands every day. The campus opens to visitors every day except for Monday. Visitors are allowed on the premises from 10 AM to 8 PM.
