Tirumakudal Narsipur is a small town situated at a distance of 16 km from Talakud. The town is famous for several temples and Gunja Narasimha is one of them. In addition to being the most distinguished temple in the region, it is also popular for its remarkable Dravidian architectural style.
Lord Narasimha is the main deity here and the idol of the same is installed within the premise of the temple. Ornamented with a huge ‘mandapams’ and ‘gopuram’ with four columns, the place has a rich cultural history and is worth visiting.
