Trekking in Shivagange, Shivagange Overview
Whether you are a trekking beginner or experienced, Shivagange offers an exciting trek, peppered with temples along the way that you can visit. As a rocky hill, climbing on Shivagange is a little difficult, however, the railings put up throughout the path and the man-made steps make the journey safe and secure.
At nearly every half kilometre, you can find a food stall where you can take a break and enjoy tea and light snacks. The last leg of the climb is the most difficult as the Shivagange hill becomes steeper. At the top of the hill, there is a Nandi bull carved directly from the monolithic stone. Although the trek and climb up Shivagange may be tiring and strenuous, the breathtaking views from the top make the journey worth it.
