While throughout most of the year it is frozen as
ice, there are a few times where you can see the Tulian lake in its melted
glory. It is located between the Pir Panjal and Zanskar ranges and the iconic
blue waters of the lake are hard to miss.
It is located at an altitude of 4000 m above sea
level and can only be reached after a difficult 2-day long trek. The journey
begins at Aru and you can also opt for ponies for the journey.
