Tunga Fort, Lonavala Overview
Tunga Fort is one of the historic forts situated in Kamshet, near to Lonavala city. This castle was constructed in 1600 by Adil Shahi and later it was annexed by Maharaj Shivaji. The most fascinating part of this fortress is the beautiful Pavana Lake positioned within its complex. This hillfort is located at an elevation of about 1075 m and in order to reach the hilltop, you need to climb a steep slope which might prove to be a difficult task for the amateurs.
